FIRE-ALARM (PA) SYSTEM REHABILITATION PROJECT &SERVICES

Fire Alarm System Repair and Recommissioning – Ministry of Justice Building Benz Engineering Limited successfully completed the comprehensive repair, testing, commissioning, and recommissioning of the BEIJING HUAXIN ELECTRONICS CO. LTD., Intelligent Fire Alarm System installed at the Ministry of Justice Building. The project was undertaken to restore the fire detection and alarm system to full operational condition, ensuring reliable protection of personnel, government assets, and critical infrastructure. The scope of work included a complete inspection of the existing fire alarm network, fault diagnosis, replacement of defective devices and components, repair of damaged wiring and communication loops, servicing of manual call points, smoke detectors, heat detectors, sounders, alarm bells, interface modules, and control panels. All field devices were cleaned, tested, calibrated where required, and verified for correct operation. Benz Engineering engineers carried out comprehensive programming, system configuration, loop testing, device addressing verification, alarm and fault simulation, cause-and-effect testing, emergency evacuation signal verification, battery backup testing, and communication testing between the fire alarm control panel and connected field devices. Every component was inspected to ensure reliable operation under normal and emergency conditions. Following completion of the repair works, the entire Beijing Huaxin Electronics fire alarm system underwent full functional testing and recommissioning in accordance with applicable fire safety standards and manufacturer recommendations. All identified faults were rectified, restoring the system to optimum performance with accurate fire detection, rapid alarm notification, and dependable system monitoring. The completed project significantly enhanced the safety and reliability of the Ministry of Justice Building by ensuring continuous fire protection, minimizing system downtime, and extending the operational life of the installed fire alarm equipment.
